During his illustrious career, Air Commodore Vashisht participated in various wars, demonstrating exceptional bravery and skill. He also served as the Education Director for the Tri-Services, overseeing educational initiatives for the Indian Armed Forces.
After retiring from the Indian Air Force, Air Commodore Vashisht continued to serve society through various NGOs, including Ideal Health Foundation and Nivriti. He has also worked as a commercial pilot with private airlines, showcasing his versatility and passion for flying.
